Error message: Could not move storage path
If you receive the error message that the storage path could not be moved by the software, please move the files yourself.
If necessary, you must first make the library folder visible with the terminal.
The terminal can be found in the programs in the "Utilities" folder >"Terminal"
1. Open the terminal. Type the following: chflags nohidden ~ / Library / and confirm with ENTER
Now you should have access to the library.
The old storage path on the Mac is here, please find this folder:
/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/SaalDesignSoftware/Local Store/projects
Please move your files to the following location:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/SaalDesignSoftware/Local Store/projects
After you have moved the files, open the Saal Design software.
On the start screen, you will find a gear wheel in the upper right, with a click on it you open the settings.
Now, check "Paths" to see if the path is set correctly. In the field highlighted in yellow, the new memory path should now be:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/SaalDesignSoftware/Local Store/projects
If the old memory path is still here, please change it to the new memory path.
If there are still problems, please contact us by e-mail support@saal-digital.co.uk
