Working with Trim InDesign

You can work with or without trimming in InDesign. If you create the pages exactly as specified in the profile, the crop is already included and you do not have to enter a crop. If you prefer to use trim, you must set the page size smaller accordingly.

Please ignore the first and last page (single pages) in InDesign, later in the pdf simply delete them and they will appear only on the double sides.

For the cover, if necessary due to the other size (most InDesign versions can not have 2 different page sizes) create a separate InDesign document. It is no problem to upload two PDFs later.
